The Hopcast SDK lets nearby phones exchange files directly, over Bluetooth LE and peer-to-peer Wi-Fi, in offline, online or hybrid mode. Available for iOS, Android and Flutter.
Version 0.6.0, released 2026-11-04 on all three platforms
Devices on Android 8.0 (API 26) or later: set your app's minSdk to 26. Manifest permissions are merged automatically; a connectedDevice foreground service and core library desugaring are required.
The SDK packages are public and free to download. They do nothing until a valid SDK key (pk_live_…) provisions the device. Get your key from the Hopcast console, with Google sign-in. The key is designed to be embedded in your app and can be revoked at any time from the console.
The hopcast-integration skill integrates the SDK into a Flutter, native iOS or native Android app, in offline, online or hybrid mode. Install it from the Hopcast marketplace, then ask, for example: "Integrate Hopcast into this app in offline mode".
